| The Filipino Christian Center began in 1991 when
Pastor T.L. Lowery now Bishop Emeritus of National Church of God asked us to move to Fort Washington, Maryland to open
a ministry for the Filipino-American community. The invitation in itself was extraordinary. After we moved, we realized
the needs of suffering people were too great and we were too few, reminding us in Matthew 9:37 "The harvest truly is
plentiful, but the laborers are few." Filipino Christian Center is a family, we are committed to one another, we have a unity based on Divine Love. We are thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ for allowing this ministry to grow in ways that honor Him, for bringing together dedicated and wonderful groups of people, and for blessing us with such a glorious purpose. |
